I’ll stick to the side, The safest side, That I know, Gotta go where to hide, Can’t let it slide, Anymore you know. Somewhere near the flowers, Feel all the powers of it’s everything, All emotions in one, Better than none. Voodoo Lilly, So nice to see you in your basic wonder, Do you ever get bored just standing there? Voodoo Lilly, So nice to see you in your basic wonder, Do you ever get bored just standing there? In a place that we don’t know, We’re lost and free, Immersed in the colour you’re a one hit wonder, I won’t see you again, And we gotta get home Voodoo Lilly, So nice to see you in your basic wonder, Do you ever get bored just standing there? Voodoo Lilly, So nice to see you in your basic wonder, Do you ever get bored just standing there?

about

The last few months and 2020 in general have been hard on everyone including myself. These tunes have been written during surprisingly the reaching up and out of one of the worst depressions of my life. I hope you find solace in this record. I enjoyed writing it :)

Which brings me to the meaning behind the name of the record. For me it's a contrasting synthesis of elements from abuse of computer tech all the way through to fossil fuel burning products we use. All the machines in our lives... it feels to me we rape the natural world for its resources and give little back to feed the use of these systems. And I'm just as hooked on all this shit as anyone else, but can human nature and the natural world coexist? Or are we destined to give in to our base instincts and need for comfort in a grimy wasteful and inefficient system? Perhaps there's more we can do?

We are all just slaves to the multi-conglomerates and governing powers behind this our human sloth machine.

But we can change our ways, and it all starts with you.

Happy holidays, and stay safe.

Lets hope 2021 is a better year for everyone.

Peace.

Wolf Asylum Australia

Please listen to this music in FLAC it's an incredible difference.

Producing Acid Glitch / Industrial / Avantgarde Electronica since 2010

I recommend listening on a properly configured 4.1 surround sound system or with high quality headphones.

If nature itself had a voice that was translated by a machine, perhaps this is what it would sound like :)
